Configuring an ADAS or HMI Sound Function

This procedure shows how to configure ADAS or HMI sound functions.

  1. Go to the ADAS or HMI tab.
  2. Click Settings for either of the proposed sound functions.
  3. Click Load sample to select the *.wav file to load.
    Note: If the audio file contains more than 2 channels, only the first 2 channels are used.
  4. You can Load or Save an individual sound configuration by clicking or . See Saving and Loading Individual Players for more information.
  5. If needed, you can:
    1. rename the sound function by clicking ,
    2. adjust the gain,
    3. click the EQ button to configure Parametric equalization,
    4. set the gain variation of the sound according to the vehicle speed, see Edit the gain mapper,
    5. change the angle (°),
    6. activate the repeated mode and set the silence duration,
    7. mute the sound.
    8. If needed, change the preprocessing formula associated with each externally controllable parameter (activation, silence duration, spatialization angle, and driving parameter used as a gain mapper input) by clicking the associated button (see Configuring Vehicle Data Preprocessing).
The ADAS or HMI sound function is configured. If you want to save your changes in a preset, refer to Saving a Preset.
You can experience the ADAS and HMI sound functions along with the SAF and AVAS sound functions in a driving environment.
