A project contains one or more simulation tasks. Each project is based on a selected task definition template that pre-defines a solver job. When a project is created, input files are uploaded to Ansys HPC Job Manager, a job definition is created, and jobs are generated. The project view enables you to view and manage tasks and monitor job execution.

In the Ansys HPC Job Manager app, the Projects page enables you to create new projects and view and manage existing projects.

For each project you can see when the project was created and last modified, who can access it, and the number of generated, running, and evaluated jobs it has. When you open a project you can view and manage its job definition and jobs, and access job files.
