In Rocky, you can choose to analyze your simulation results by creating 3D Views, viewing individual statistics, and by graphing sets of data in plots and histograms. While you can set up many of these items before you begin processing, it is during processing and after your simulation is complete that these items become most useful. For example, after the processing is complete, you can export data sets and 3D View images —as well as create and save animations of your simulations— for review and sharing outside Rocky
The basic building blocks upon which Rocky enables you to display and analyze data are the various properties presented on the Properties and Curves tabs. Rocky provides these properties as a starting point for creating your desired 3D Views, plots, and histograms.
Rocky also helps you filter the view you want to see and the data you want to analyze by enabling you to define User Processes. These analysis shapes, planes, and settings are the methods by which you divide, reduce, or filter the simulation area to better control the results you see and data you graph.
You change the Timestep you want to visualize in 3D Views and animations, and what values you want to see for individual Properties and Curves properties on the Time toolbar.
And because more complex analyses may take more time to calculate and display, Rocky provides a Progress panel that you can use to monitor your various requests and determine how long they might take to complete.
