When you apply advanced mapped Face Meshing controls for mapped meshing to a face, the Meshing application divides the face into one or more mappable regions and creates a mapped mesh in each region. Advanced mapped face meshing controls are subject to restrictions related to vertex types and restrictions related to edge mesh intervals.
