CAD Integration Model Edits
Several modeling operations are allowed on a CAD model in the Ansys Electromagnetics Modeler window. Operations will included in the History tree and retained during model Refresh.
The following operations are not allowed:
- Non-history tree operations like Heal or defeature.
- Operations that use UDM parts as Tool such as Sweep, or Boolean operations like Split or Unite (but allowed when you select the clone tool option).
The following part attributes can be modified for UDM parts:
- Model/Non Model flag
- Solve Inside flag
- Part orientation
- Display Wireframe
- Color
It is not possible to delete individual parts of UDM.
