Implicit or Explicit Solver?
In some cases, it might be useful to switch to the explicit solver (see Converting an Implicit Model for Explicit Analyses and Troubleshooting Convergence Problems). Control cards for explicit analyses are provided in the keyword file control_database.key. This file is taken from the LS-DYNA Explicit Technical Guide [22], which also contains template keyword files for different explicit analysis types.
