Body instance data is created in the DesignModeler application by the Import External Geometry File and Attach to Active CAD Geometry features when instance data exists in the CAD data or by using the DesignModeler application Pattern or Body Operation features. Body instances are tracked internally and may be observed by selecting a body or a set of bodies and expanding the selection using Extend to Instances in Viewing Instance Data.
