Algorithm Systems

Each algorithm is represented by a system consisting of parameters, criteria, algorithm settings, start designs, nominal designs, and results. The first five components are combined into a wizard that is launched when you add the system to the Project Schematic. Results can be opened with a post-processor during or after calculations.

Optimization

The Optimization system prepares an optimization workflow using the parameter sets provided by Workbench systems.

For details on the Optimization wizard, see Optimization Wizard. For an example tutorial, see Optimization of a Damped Oscillator in Ansys Workbench in the optiSLang Tutorials.

Robustness

The Robustness system prepares a robustness or reliability analysis workflow using the parameter sets provided by Workbench systems.

For details on the Robustness wizard, see Robustness Wizard. For example tutorials, see Robustness Evaluation of a Damped Oscillator in Ansys Workbench and Reliability Analysis of a Damped Oscillator in Ansys Workbench in the optiSLang Tutorials.

Sensitivity

The Sensitivity system prepares a sensitivity study workflow using the parameter sets provided by Workbench systems.

For details on the Sensitivity wizard, see Sensitivity Wizard. For an example tutorial, see Sensitivity Analysis of a Coupled Function in Ansys Workbench in the optiSLang Tutorials.
