This example problem uses component mode synthesis (CMS) to generate dynamic superelements for use in downstream linear dynamic analyses. The example demonstrates how CMS technology can greatly reduce the use of computational resources and maintain a level of accuracy similar to that of the full model in modal and harmonic analyses.
