3.4. Simple Geometries

Simple geometries such as the cylinder, sphere, tri-plate and block are used to represent a rigid body with six degrees of freedom. These geometries are treated as a solid or assembled body in the subsystem. When a geometry is created in a subsystem, the body is treated as a Solid Body (Rigid Body) and when created in a part, the body is treated as Assembled Body (Rigid Body). These geometries have parameters for their shapes and can be customized using a Design Variable or Design Point.
