3.2.1. Solid Body Creation

There are two ways to create a solid body. One is to create the solid body by creating simple geometries such as Cylinder Creation and Properties, Sphere Creation and Properties, Tri-Plate Creation and Properties and Block Creation and Properties in the subsystem. These bodies can be translated to a nodal EasyFlex body. The other is to create solid bodies using Import CAD Geometry in the subsystem. If the Combine option is not used when the CAD is imported, the resultant solid body can be translated to a nodal EasyFlex body.

When the body is created, the CM center marker is created simultaneously. This marker shows the position and orientation of the body reference frame in Equation 3–1 and Equation 3–6 and cannot be modified or deleted separately.
