A Range can be accessed from the Body category on the ribbon menu in a subsystem or part. This entity can be created by selecting a body, point, normal direction and radius as shown in the figure and table below.

| Parameter | Description |
| 1. Body | Use to set the body by using the General Picker. The Range is created on this body. |
| 2. Point | Use to set the center position of the circular plane. |
| 3. Normal Direction… | Use to set the normal direction of the circular plane. |
| 4. Radius | Use to set the radius of the circular plane. |
| 5. Name | Use to set the name of the Range. |
| 6. Show Property Dialog | Use to open the properties dialog after finishing the creation operation. |
| 7. Control buttons | If all necessary parameters are set, these buttons are enabled. For more information about the control buttons, refer to Entity Creation. |
