An FE Body can be created by the assembly of a mesh file into a subsystem. There are two ways to assemble the mesh file. One is to import the file from the Assembly feature of the FE Body as shown in the figure below and the other is to import it from the feature of a Beam FE Body.
This section will introduce how to create an FE Body by using the assembly feature. The FE Body can be created by defining the mesh file and its transformation as shown in the figure below and in the following table.

Parameter | Description |
1. File Path | Use to select the Mesh file for import. |
2. Transform | Use to set the position and orientation of the subsystem reference frame for the mesh by using the Transform Picker. |
3. Name | Use to set the name of the FE body. |
4. Control buttons | If all necessary parameters are set, these buttons are enabled. For more information about the control buttons, refer to Entity Creation. |
