18. Merge Acoustic Regions

The Operation Type is Merge Volumes. Merge Volumes allow you to merge the volumes. Merge Volumes have the following control:

Merge Volumes have specific outcomes which can be added as per your needs. You can right-click Merge Volumes, click Insert and select the required scope that you need as outcome in the consecutive operations. The available outcome is:

Operation Type: Displays the operation type for the selected mesh workflow step.

Create Checkpoint: Creates checkpoint for the control and saves the current operation when Create Checkpoint is Yes.

Max Number of Warnings: Allows you to provide the maximum number of warnings that can be displayed for the selected operation type. The default value is 5.

Insertion Options

Use any of the following methods for inserting Merge Acoustic Regions object.

  • Right-click Model and click Insert > Mesh Workflows Select the Mesh Workflow Type.

  • Click Model. In the Model Context tab, under the Mesh group, click Mesh Workflows. Select the Mesh Workflow Type.

  • Right-click Mesh and click Insert > Mesh Workflows. Select the Mesh Workflow Type.

  • Click Mesh. In the Mesh Context tab, under the Mesh Workflow group, click Mesh Workflows. Select the Mesh Workflow Type.

Right-click Options

In addition to common right-click options, relevant right-click options for this object include: Availability is dependent on the selected object.

  • Insert > Checkpoint: Allows you to add Checkpoint control type for the Merge Acoustic Regions step.

  • Insert > Step After > Manage Zone Properties: Allows you to add Manage Zone Properties after the Merge Acoustic Regions step.

  • Delete: Allows you to delete the Merge Acoustic Regions step. You can delete an operation only when the mesh workflow is not complete.

  • Execute Up To Step: Executes the Merge Acoustic Regions step for the specified mesh workflow.

  • Rename: Allows you to rename the Merge Acoustic Regions step.

  • Revert To Step: Allows you to revert to the Merge Acoustic Regions step when checkpoint is enabled. When you perform Revert To Step after completing the workflow, the output generated is automatically cleared and reverted to the Merge Acoustic Regions step.
