Running a Live Preview

The following procedure helps you launch and run a Live Preview out of a simulation.

To run a Live Preview:

Prerequisites:

You must have activated Enable GPU-Explore to use the whole capabilities of the Live Preview.

Make sure the Port server (local) is not used by another application. Otherwise you will not be able to run the Live Preview.

You must have created a Direct or Inverse simulation.

  1. In the Speos tree, select a Direct or an Inverse simulation.
  2. In the Light Simulation tab, in the Tools section, click Preview .
The Live Preview window opens and you can explore and analyze the preview according to the sensors you added to the simulation.
If you want to go further into the exploration, you can modify parameters of your system and update the preview. You will then directly see in the current running Live Preview window the changes applied on your project without having to launch a simulation to see the result.
