Body Eigenvalue Analysis is available in the subsystem and mesh. Available body types in the subsystem and mesh are Solid body and Flexible body, respectively. The solid body is automatically translated to a nodal EasyFlex body for the analysis. When the flexible body is the modal flexible body, the body is automatically translated to a nodal flexible body. The body eigenvalue in the subsystem is operated by the steps as shown in the figure and table below.
Figure 9.32: Steps to simulate the body eigenvalue analysis in the subsystem
Step | Operation |
1st step | Select the icon of on the ribbon menu as shown in the figure above. General Picker will then be opened. |
2nd step | Select one of solid bodies for the body eigenvalue analysis. And then, the property dialog of the body eigenvalue analysis will be opened as shown in Figure 9.35: Body Eigenvalue Analysis properties. |
3rd step | Input the properties of the analysis and run the simulation as shown in Figure 9.35: Body Eigenvalue Analysis properties. The properties of the analysis are introduced in Figure 9.36: Body Eigenvalue Analysis properties. |
The body eigenvalue in the mesh is operated by the steps shown in the figure and table below.
Figure 9.34: Step to simulate the body eigenvalue analysis in the mesh
Step | Operation |
1st step | Select the icon of on the ribbon menu as shown in the figure above. The property dialog for the body eigenvalue analysis will then be opened as shown in Figure 9.35: Body Eigenvalue Analysis properties. |
2nd step | Input the properties of the analysis and run the simulation. The properties of the analysis are introduced in Figure 9.36: Body Eigenvalue Analysis properties. |
It is possible to run the body eigenvalue analysis from the navigator or screen. If you want to know how to do a quick run, see Quick Run for Analysis.
