Test Case

A simple pendulum as shown in Figure 69: Schematic has a SHM motion about its hinged point given by the following equation:

θ = 1.571*sin (0.5235*t) rad

The hinge point coordinates are:

  1. Hinge point = (0, 0, -35.56) mm

Find the relative angular acceleration of pendulum after t = 3s.
