The Performance Map system is a convenient tool for creating performance maps for turbomachinery cases.
The system has a Performance Map cell that can be edited to access the Turbomachinery Performance Map dialog box. This dialog box has two tabs:
The Operating Conditions tab, for defining speedlines
The Performance Map tab, for viewing those speedlines on performance maps (after solution results have been generated).
As a prerequisite to using the Performance Map system, the Project Schematic must contain at least one turbomachinery-related system that is configured with input parameters for rotational speed and mass flow rate at the base duty operating point.
The turbomachinery-related systems that are compatible with the Performance Map system are:
Turbomachinery Fluid Flow
Fluid Flow (CFX)
Fluid Flow (Fluent)
CFX
