The Performance Map system is compatible only with steady-state cases where a specified mass flow and rotational speed may be used to generate a performance map.

Because the performance map tool uses multiple fluid flow systems to compare different designs, it is not possible to perform parametric geometry optimization across the performance map.

Consequently it is recommended that only non-parametric changes are made when comparing designs with the performance map tool.
