optiSLang is now available as a Student Version.
This version includes Inside Ansys, optiSLang GUI, Postprocessing and oSP3D, batch mode (command line), all APIs (pyoptiSLang, py-journal, and Plugins [Bring you own AI]).
The Student Version is available for both Linux and Windows.
This version can be downloaded from the Ansys Student Versions Free Student Software Downloads and the Optimization - ANSYS Innovation Courses.
The following general enhancements were made:
Performance with many Designs has been improved through several new settings.

Limit maximum designs in result design tableandLimit number of start designs for placeholderingProject Tree widget support has been updated
PyOptiSLang API can now get more fine-grain result data
Webmodule Postprocessing Module is now useable separately from optiSLang webservice
The module can be freely integrated in other environments
Currently supports optiSLang OMDB and JSON as design data sources
OMDB file viewer was added in Minerva
Data from the OMDB file is situated in Minerva
No postprocessing server involved/needed by Minerva.
The following user interface enhancements were made:
A new "New project" wizard has been added.
You specify the project name and location, and the wizard creates all directories and files upfront, which greatly simplifies project setup.
The following connector enhancements were made:
optiSLang inside Fluent can now export designs and open optiSLang.
The Ansys EDT node has new options to force SI units.
The Ansys HPS Node node (beta) was added.
The HPS node allows you to log in to HPC manager, select the project, select parameters and responses, and select output files to download.
The Ansys DCS node is still available for older versions, though DCS itself will be retired in 2024 R2.
The ETK node added a new separator option" "Compressed".
Checked - separator tokens are compressed, therefore maintaining backward compatibility with old behavior
Unchecked - separator tokens are not compressed
The Thermal Desktop (Beta) Node was added.
The following algorithm enhancements were made:
The Systems folder has been resorted.
The One-Click Optimization (OCO) has been updated:
Start Design settings have been added.
The OCO heuristic has been improved to speed up convergence.
