Using the Reset Command from the Setup and Solution Cells of FENSAP-ICE Based Systems

2.3.1. Using the Reset Command from the Setup and Solution Cells of FENSAP-ICE Based Systems

For either type of FENSAP-ICE based systems, you can delete all local and generated data from the Setup (Flow/Droplets/Ice) cell or from the Solution (Flow/Droplets/Ice) cell by right-clicking either cell and selecting the Reset command from the context menu.

For Setup (Flow/Droplets/Ice) cells, the Reset command removes the Setup (Flow/Droplets/Ice) cell’s reference to the mesh file, deletes the settings files associated with the Setup (Flow/Droplets/Ice) cell, and sets the cell property values to their defaults. If the Setup (Flow/Droplets/Ice) cell is Up-to-Date, it will become Refresh Required ( ) when the Reset command is executed.

For Solution (Flow/Droplets/Ice) cells, the Reset command deletes all solution and output files associated with the cell, and sets the cell property values to their defaults. If the Solution (Flow/Droplets/Ice) cell is Up-to-Date, it will become Refresh Required when the Reset command is executed.

Important:  Currently the Reset command is limited in its functionality. See Ansys, Inc. Release Notes for more details.
