1.2. Physical Models

When you set up a simulation, you must select which physical models to include. The physical models define the type of simulation you want to perform.

Currently in CFX, the following models are available:

In addition to these models, you can also introduce volumetric sources of mass, momentum energy, resistance, and Additional Variables using fluid subdomains. Point sources can also be applied to a single control volume. For details, see Source Points.
