Windchill

You can start MI Materials Gateway from the following locations in the Windchill browser, depending on whether you want to view a product, a library, a folder, or a part.

Note: Starting Gateway from a part within a Workspace is not supported. You can only start Gateway from within a Product or Library context in the Windchill commonspace.

You can use MI Materials Gateway to find and assign materials from your Granta MI database.

For any material in your Granta MI database, you can run a 'Where Used' query to find all parts in your Windchill system that it has been assigned to. The query results are shown as a list of Windchill parts with assignments, and the list of results can be exported as a file or analyzed using reports and dashboards. See Finding where an assignment is used.
