Stride Lightweight Geometry in HFSS 3D Layout

Stride is a lightweight 3D geometry representation used for 3D CAD components within HFSS 3D Layout. Formats such as IGES and STEP can be imported, at which time they are converted to Stride for lightweight management.

After importing components, view them on the 3D tab of the Components window.

Selecting a component or part within a component highlights it in the design area. You can then edit certain properties in the Properties window and trace physical connections between components.
