Ansys medini analyze can produce simple reports of data contained in a single table as well as complex documentations covering information contained in multiple work products of a project. There are four types of reports:
Table reports: every table can be quickly exported into a document from within a table editor (e.g. MS Excel), see Table Reports,
Default reports for specific work products such as FMEA and FTA, see Standard Tool Reports
Overall project report that can export all models, see Generating an Overall Project Report,
Custom reports that can be designed to your own needs, see Generating a custom report.
Report generation is invoked from the "Report" context menu of the corresponding element in the Model Browser or by using the general "Report" menu. All document report generations are using the same wizard for guidance that adapts slightly depending on the type of report.
In general the reporting engine supports multiple document formats:
Portable Document Format (PDF)
MS Excel (.xlsx)
MS Word (.docx)
HTML (.html with references to generated images)
For some reports not all options are available and you will be constraint to the available formats. Note that for tables in general the target format Excel is recommended whereas for the complex reports PDF, Word or HTML should be chosen.
