The reinforcing plies are exposed to the Mechanical application under the Imported Reinforcements group (see Figure 4.86: Tree View of Results). This view can be used to verify the material directions and other ply properties.
The analysis does not represent a real load case and is intended only to demonstrate the end‑to‑end workflow. The total deformations are summarized in Table 4.5: Total Deformations of Meshes. The deformation differences are relatively large, which reinforces the general recommendation to use quad‑dominant solid meshes instead of tetrahedral meshes.

The Imported Reinforcing Plies can also be used for ply‑wise postprocessing. The plot below shows the material‑1 stresses for one reinforcing ply.
Note: To visualize strains and stresses, set the Global ID to one that is present in the Imported Reinforcements. Because Global IDs are regenerated when the model is updated or resolved, this setting must be reset after each update.
