Use probes to view results at specific locations and objects in your model. The Mechanical application supports two different kinds of probes:
Probe annotations, which allow you to do the following:
Find and label result values and (optionally) node IDs at points where you click on the model
Display the minimum and/or maximum results on a body, face, edge, or vertex
Probe objects, which you can insert into a model to perform the following tasks:
Find results on objects in the tree, such as elastic supports or weak springs
Obtain reaction forces and moments at supports
