The Magnetic force entity allows you to conduct co-simulation with Maxwell based on a bidirectional method (available from Maxwell version 2022 R2 or later). You should create a basic Maxwell model that can be modeled for co-simulation from the Motion application. Motion updates the Maxwell model by sending the positions and orientations under the Component Object Model (COM) interface and all of the information is parameterized in Maxwell.
The simulation progresses sequentially in each application following the interface steps, as shown in the figure below. Motion sends kinematic information to Maxwell and receives the magnetic forces and torques generalized on a representative body from Maxwell. Only rigid body is available for the target body of Magnetic analysis.
