5. Maximum step size factorN/A

You can change the level of the maximum step size before co-simulation using this parameter (see Figure 11.25: Maximum Step Size Factor below):

Max. step size = Interface time step * Maximum step size factor

For more information, see Dynamic Parameters for Simulation Configuration.

N/A

(0.01 ≤ Real ≤ 1.0)

6. Level of the solver messageN/A

You can change the message level before co-simulation using this parameter, as follows:

0 : None - No messages regarding co-simulation are written

1 : Partial - Only co-simulation progress is recorded

2 : Full - All messages regarding co-simulation are written

N/A
7. Interface time stepN/A

This represents the communication time step between the master tool and Motion.

This field shows the default Motion value, but when performing co-simulation, the value set in the master tool is used.

Figure 11.25: Maximum Step Size Factor

Maximum Step Size Factor

If the value of the Maximum step size factor is set to 1.0, the Maximum step size for Motion is equal to the Interface time step.

If the value of the Maximum step size factor is set to 0.1, the Maximum step size for Motion is equal to one tenth of the Interface time step.
