The MultiEdge Picker is used to select a set of edges on a rigid body to make a Curveset, as shown in the figure and table below.
Figure 1.104: Description of MultiEdge picker properties
Property | Description |
1. ![]() | Set the selection range. For more information, see MultiFace Picker. |
2. Adj (Adjacent) | Select adjacent edges from the seed edge with an angle criterion. There are two any criteria. See Vertex Tangential Angle below. |
3. Color | Select the edges which have same color with the seed edge. |
4. Curveset | Select the existing Curveset. |
5. ![]() | Select all edges which belong to a body. |
6. ![]() | Select the interior or exterior of the selected range. |
7. ![]() | Select whether to include entities intersecting the selection boundary. |
8. ![]() | Add or remove an edge. When the plus button is active, you can add edges by dragging a selection area. When the minus button is active, you can remove edges by dragging a selection area. When both buttons are deactivated, the selection mode will be changed to single selection. New selections are not added to the previous selection, and the selected edges are updated every time when selecting. |
9. ![]() | Select an edge facing the screen. This works with both single and multi selection. If this option is active, only edges with a normal direction towards the screen will be selected . |
10. ![]() | Select the edge nearest to the screen. When this option is active, only one edge will be selected. |
11. Vertex Tangential Angle |
Select the edges by using the relative angle between two tangential vectors on edges. This option is enabled when the adjacent option is turned on. When Vertex Tangential Angle is selected, the relative angle is calculated with two tangent vectors of adjacent edges as follows.

|
12. Angle | Set the criteria angle by entering the value directly or by using the slider bar. If the relative angle from the Vertex Tangential Angle (above) is smaller than or equal to the specified criteria angle, the edge will be selected. |
13. Edge Filter | Set the geometry type filter to Any, Ellipse, Helix, Intcurve or Straight. |
14. Control of Edge List |
Control the display order of edges in the Edge List (below).
|
15. Edge List | Display the list of selected edges. |
16. OK/Cancel | Close the picker dialog. When | is clicked, the selected edges are applied in the parent entity. Otherwise, when is clicked, the selected edges are not applied.
