Mesh Generation is used to generate solid4 finite elements for the specified solid geometry in a subsystem or part. A Motion mesh file is created and can be imported into a subsystem after this operation. During this operation, triangular patches are created to represent the surface of the solid body and then internal nodes and solid4 elements are created. If the solid body has faults such as a split face, tiny face, sheet, or curve, the mesh generation may fail. In these cases, mesh generation may be successfully completed if the size of the patches is reduced.
