The Graphics section includes one field that can be modified.
Facet Quality: This setting will determine the display tolerances for visualization. Facet quality has no effect on the success of the Ansys DesignModeler application’s features; it is purely for visualization. Higher settings will result in a higher quality display, although it will take longer to generate facets and will require more memory. One aspect where facet quality does affect your analysis is during contact detection in the Mechanical application. The initial value of this property is inherited from the Options Dialog, though you can set it to any value between 1 and 10 for each individual model.
For more information about controlling the quality of model facets in the Ansys DesignModeler application, see the Graphics menu of the DesignModeler Application Options panel.
Note: The Facet quality setting is applicable only to bodies in the DesignModeler representation and will not have any effect on bodies in the Workbench representation.
