Postprocessing Modes

The optiSLang postprocessing and monitoring tool has several modes. By default, the suitable mode is automatically selected from the monitoring database file. Each mode incorporates a set of general plots (available for all modes) and mode specific plots. See Postprocessing Plots for detailed descriptions.

The different postprocessing modes are:

  • Statistical interpretation (survey) of the calculated designs. Default plots: Statistics and Data Mining.

  • Approximation of response and objective values based on chosen support points and meta-models. Default plots: Statistics, Data Mining and Approximation.

  • Optimization strategies. Default plots: Statistics, Data Mining and Optimization.

  • Reliability analysis. Default plots: Statistics, Data Mining and Reliability.

You can also create customized postprocessing session by customizing the available default modes. See Postprocessing Python Scripting for more details
