19.3. Stabilization Methods for the Density-Based Solver

When using the implicit density-based solver, you can choose another stabilization method rather than the AMG solver if you are using a fixed-type cycle (F, V, or W cycle) for the flow correction. If you enable beta feature access (as described in Introduction), then you can select one of the following for Flow in the Multigrid tab of the Advanced Solution Controls dialog box: the bi-conjugate gradient stabilized method (BCGSTAB), the recursive projection method (RPM), or the generalized minimal residual method (GMRES).
