Fluid-Fluid Interfaces Tool Guides and Options
Fluid-Fluid Interfaces Tool Guides
The following tool guides are available:
Select a face | Select a face for which you want to review all interface pairs on the primary face. |
Select a body | Select a body for which you want to review all interface pairs on the primary body. |
Select a secondary face | Select a secondary face to review only interface pairs between the secondary face and any primary face. |
Select a secondary body | Select a secondary body to review only interface pairs between the secondary body and any primary body. |
Select markers | Select markers to highlight individual interface pairs. |
Fluid-Fluid Interfaces Tool Options
The following options are available:
Exclude from interface detection | Exclude the interface pairs from interface detection. |
Detection distance | Specify the maximum distance of interface detection to be used. For example, for a rotating fluid zone inside a stationary fluid zone, where a narrow gap exists between a face in the fluid-fluid interface and a fluid wall on the stationary zone or a fluid-solid interface, the detection distance should be small enough to avoid the detection of the outer face. |
Group faces by body | View interfaces grouped by the body and optionally create an excluded interface per grouped body. |
Group tangent faces | View interfaces grouped by tangent faces and optionally create an excluded interface per grouped tangent face. |
No grouping | View individual interface pairs and optionally create an excluded interface for the desired separate face pairs. |
