Fan Tools

The following options are available:

Volume flow rate Define the fan curve by entering pairs of volume flow rate and pressure rise (static pressure) values in the table. The table must contain more than two rows of values, otherwise it will be implemented as a constant pressure rise. You can modify the table as needed and export values from it.
Velocity Define the fan curve by entering pairs of velocity and pressure rise (static pressure) values in the table. The table must contain more than two rows of values, otherwise it will be implemented as a constant pressure rise. You can modify the table as needed and export values from it.
Constant pressure rise Enter the pressure rise across the fan. For an intake fan the constant pressure rise is the total pressure and for an exhaust fan it is the static pressure.
Gauge pressure Enter the gauge pressure. This is the pressure upstream of an intake fan (total pressure) or downstream of an exhaust fan (static pressure).
Fan name Enter the name of the newly defined fan model.
Save to local library Click to save the new fan curve to the local library.
Remove from local library Click to remove a user defined fan from the local library. It will remain in the list. If saved with your project, it will be available when the project is resumed. For new projects it will no longer be available in the list.
