When performing an accelerated analysis such as the one presented in this problem, consider the following:
To obtain an accurate cycle-jump solution, it is often helpful to select as the control variable a solution variable having the most nonlinear global trend. If a given solution variable is a result of interest and has a nonlinear global trend, but another solution variable which has a linear global trend is selected as the control variable, that may lead to larger jumps and less accurate results for the solution variable of interest.
