To restart a direct coupled-field analysis, Ansys, Inc. recommends using a singleframe restart. Direct coupled-field analyses use a coupled-field element containing all necessary degrees of freedom. See the Coupled-Field Analysis Guide for more information on this type of coupled-field analysis.
