Recording a General Audio Output

This procedure shows how to save the sounds played in Ansys Sound: ASDforEV in a *.wav file.

Prerequisites: Make sure that the selected audio output mode is Stereo (see Audio Output Modes).
  1. Click the speaker button to turn on the audio output.
    The speaker button turns light blue .
  2. Go the Vehicle tab.
  3. Click Record audio.

  4. Choose a disk location and wave file name to store the recording.
  5. If needed, go to the General tab to:
    • mute a sound: Select ,
    • trigger an Ambiance or ADAS sound: Select
    • turn or an HMI sound.
  6. When you want to stop recording, click Record audio.

The recorded audio is saved in a *.wav file.
