Frequent Audio Artefacts
Problem
There are frequent audio artifacts in the output sound.
Possible Cause
The I/O Vector Size and the Signal Vector Size are too low.
Solution
- Click the Audio config. button.
- Click the Audio settings button.
- Click the speaker button to turn off the audio output before changing the audio output configuration.
- Set the I/O Vector Size to a higher value (512 or
1024).Note: The I/O setting has an effect on latency and overall performance.
- Set the Signal Vector Size to the same value.Note: The signal vector size has a slight effect on overall performance. Ansys recommends setting the Signal Vector Size to at least 512.
- Close the Audio Status window.
- Click the speaker button to turn on the audio output.
