Using the Ray File Editor

  1. From the Start menu, click Ansys 20XX RX > Ray File Editor.

  2. Click File, Open..., or to browse a .ray or a .tm25ray file.

    You can import or export files.

    You can use data downloaded from OSRAM Opto Semiconductors.

    By clicking Edit, Repair or , you can repair a ray file.

  3. Set the parameters.

    You must save each .ray file. When you click Save as in the latest format, the Ray File Editor migrates the file in the most recent version of the format. .tm25ray files cannot be saved. You can refer to Contents of .ray and .tm25 ray files.

    Warning: Make sure not to overwrite .ray files as you might need the basic one for a different binning and therefore different emission.

  4. Close the window.
