Texture application can have an impact on the simulations results. To control what is taken into account for simulation, a texture normalization mode must be selected.
Note: You can only select one texture normalization mode for all texture mappings created in the entire assembly.
To define a Texture Normalization:
Prerequisites: A simulation must already be created.
-
Open a simulation.
-
Right-click the simulation and click Options.
-
In the Optical Properties section, make sure Texture is checked.
Texture is checked by default when creating a simulation.
-
From the Texture normalization drop-down list, select None, Color from BSDF or Color from Texture.
-
Click Close.
The texture normalization is selected and will be taken into account for simulation to determine the rendering of the texture.
