Setting the Texture Normalization

Texture application can have an impact on the simulations results. To control what is taken into account for simulation, a texture normalization mode must be selected.

Note: You can only select one texture normalization mode for all texture mappings created in the entire assembly.

To define a Texture Normalization:

Prerequisites: A simulation must already be created.
  1. Open a simulation.
  2. Right-click the simulation and click Options.
  3. In the Optical Properties section, make sure Texture is checked.
Texture is checked by default when creating a simulation.
  4. From the Texture normalization drop-down list, select None, Color from BSDF or Color from Texture.

  5. Click Close.
The texture normalization is selected and will be taken into account for simulation to determine the rendering of the texture.
