Welcome to Granta MI
Ansys offers enterprise-wide materials data management software to store, control, and analyze, creating your materials' gold-source. Ansys Granta MI Enterprise™ materials data management software is built on the foundation of trusted materials reference data.
You can access both the reference data and any in-house materials data that are stored in your Granta MI databases using Granta MI web applications. The applications and the data that is available to you depend on the databases that have been loaded, the licenses that have been purchased, and your authorization permissions.
The following applications are provided:
- Searching
- Find records that meet specified criteria by entering keywords, setting the required property values, and specifying the folders or records to search.
- Favorites
- Records that you need to access frequently, or that have specific properties, or that are used in a particular project, can be added to Favorites Lists.
- Custom Searches
- You can choose search filters that meet specific search requirements. Choose the properties and values you are interested in, save these criteria so you can run the same search again, and share a saved search with other users who are working on related projects.
- Import
- You can import data stored in Excel spreadsheets and text files to create Materials records. When you drag data files onto the Import workspace, or browse to specify files or folders, an import job is created.
- BoM Analyzer

product. You can analyze BoMs either to establish their restricted substances compliance, or
their sustainability impacts.Note: This application is an additional capability that is licensed separately.
- Ansys Material Calibration
- Use Ansys Material Calibration to
calibrate test data using models from the Ansys Mechanical solver. Note: This application is an additional capability that is licensed separately.

the progress of running workflows (known as ‘workflow instances’) and perform tasks within
