  • The breadcrumb at the top of the page has been restyled and simplified, making navigation easier.

  • When creating a virtual desktop, HPC cluster, or file storage server, you specify a name and description for the resource on the last screen of the wizard where all configuration details are displayed, making it easier to come up with a name and/or description that is accurate and meaningful.

  • When creating a virtual desktop, HPC cluster, or file storage server, the Database entry added state on the resource tile has been replaced with [Resource type] requested. See Resource States in the User's Guide.

  • Additional information is displayed on resource tiles:

    • When a resource is in the Running state, the tile's Status view displays a counting timer that indicates how long the resource has been running.

    • A tile's Settings view displays a Created property that indicates the date on which the resource was created, and by whom.

    • On virtual desktop tiles, a Last signed in by [user] property indicates who last connected to the virtual desktop.

  • When renaming a resource, the Save button remains disabled unless a change is made. Also, as a shortcut, pressing Enter after changing the name instantly saves and applies the change.

  • The hardware recommendations for LS-DYNA VDI and HPC workflows have been updated. See Recommended Instance Types for VDI Workflows and Recommended Instance Types for HPC in the Recommended Usage Guide.

  • In the Administration settings, the Allow users to automatically map local disk drives setting is now enabled by default.

  • When editing project space settings such as Details, Permissions, and Budget, you are no longer required to save your changes before clicking Done. Changes are saved automatically.

  • When using the Reporting feature, the format of the date displayed in the Start date and End date fields is consistent with the date format used in the report.
