Budgeting
To help track and control cloud spending by Ansys Gateway powered by AWS users in your organization, you can set budgets for project spaces. Once a budget has been set on a project space, you can monitor budget usage throughout the lifetime of the project space. Budgets can be adjusted or disabled at any time to support utilization needs.
Note:
The budgeting feature only tracks charges incurred by running virtual machines based on
the list price of virtual machine hardware in the selected region. It does not account
for charges incurred by other services and processes that are associated with Ansys Gateway powered by AWS. These include, but are not limited to:
Ansys application licenses
Storage (see Amazon EBS pricing)
Data transfer (see Overview of Data Transfer Costs for Common Architectures)
Virtual machine maintenance
Other services provided by AWS which have an associated cost
