Customize Charts and Data

This set of exercises covers how to customize charts, plot custom data, and define custom subsets for selection.

This section contains the following topics:

Exercise 1: Favorite records
You can highlight your favorite records, for example your company's preferred materials. This allows you to easily identify records in a selection project.
Exercise 2: Adding user-defined records
In addition to using records supplied in the Granta Selector databases, you can also add your own data by creating a user-defined record.
Exercise 3: Selection with a Custom Subset
You can define which records and properties are used in a selection project by creating a custom subset.
Exercise 4: Record color in Browse tree and charts
Granta Selector databases use a standardized color scheme for displaying records (for example, blue for plastics). You can change the default colors to highlight particular records.
