3.3.17. Results

The Results group includes the following categories and preferences.

Auto Rename ResultsSpecify whether to automatically rename results when the result Type property is changed. Options include Yes (default) and No.
Average Across BodiesSet the default for the Average Across Bodies property. Options include Yes (default) and No.
Update Dependent Expressions on Identifier ChangeWhen you set this preference to Yes, the application will attempt to automatically update downstream Expression property entries that include an Identifier that was modified in an upstream system. Options include Yes and No (default).
Save Auxiliary ResultsSet the default for the Save Auxiliary Results property. Options include Yes (default) and No. This preference does not change the setting of existing result objects.
Compute Midside Node Values Based on Averaged CornersOptions include Yes (default) and No. For averaged results, when set to No, the application calculates the midside node value based on the un-averaged corner node values. When set to Yes, the application calculates the midside node value based on the averaged corner node value.
Moment Probe Summation Point Offset By DisplacementsWhen enabled, the application moves the Summation point of a Moment Probe to match the closest deformed node when calculating the moment arm. Options include Yes and No (default).
Cyclic Result OptionAllow Phase SweepSet the default for the Allow Phase Sweep property. Options include No (default) and Yes.
RSM File ManagerRSM Output Files DownloadSpecify whether the RSM File Manager dialog displays automatically. Options include Show and Hide (default).
Cyclic Solution DisplayNumber of SectorsFor analyses that include a Cyclic Region object, this preference specifies the default setting of the Number of Sectors property of the Solution object. The default setting is 1.
Starting at SectionFor analyses that include a Cyclic Region object, this preference specifies the default setting of the Starting at Section property of the Solution object. The default setting is 1.
Line Chart Tabular DataPrecision for Distinct RowsThis preference enables you to change the number of significant digits used to consider the distinct X axis values. Each distinct value for the X axis represents a row in the table. The default setting is 10. The supported range is 3-15.
