30. Stacker: Flatten Volume

The Stacker: Flatten Volume operation maps scoped parts, zones, or labels onto a 2D base face defined in the Stacker: Volume Flattening control and transfers existing labels from the input scope to the base face, and generates new labels to the created base face and edges.

The Operation Type is Stacker: Flatten Volume. Stacker: Flatten Volume has the following controls:

Operation Type: Displays the operation type for the selected mesh workflow step.

Create Checkpoint: Creates checkpoint for the control and saves the current operation when Create Checkpoint is Yes.

Max Number of Warnings: Allows you to provide the maximum number of warnings that can be displayed for the selected operation type. The default value is 5.

Insertion Options

Use any of the following methods for inserting Stacker: Flatten Volume.

  • Right-click Model and click Insert > Mesh Workflows. Select the Mesh Workflow Type.

  • Click Model. In the Model Context tab, under the Mesh group, click Mesh Workflows. Select the Mesh Workflow Type.

  • Right-click Mesh and click Insert > Mesh Workflows. Select the Mesh Workflow Type.

  • Click Mesh. In the Mesh Context tab, under the Mesh Workflow group, click Mesh Workflows. Select the Mesh Workflow Type.

In addition to common right-click options, relevant right-click options for this object include: Availability is dependent on the selected object.

  • Insert > Stacker: Base Faces Scope: Allows you to add Stacker: Base Faces Scope outcome in the mesh workflow.

  • Insert > Stacker: Base Faces Scope: Allows you to add Stacker: Base Edge Scope outcome in the mesh workflow.

  • Insert > Stacker: Base Faces Scope: Allows you to add Stacker: Seed Faces Scope outcome in the mesh workflow.

  • Delete: Allows you to delete the Stacker: Flatten Volume step. You can delete an operation only when the mesh workflow is not complete.

  • Execute Up To Step: Executes the Stacker: Flatten Volume step for the specified mesh workflow.

  • Rename: Allows you to rename the Stacker: Flatten Volume step.

  • Revert To Step: Allows you to revert to the Stacker: Flatten Volume step when checkpoint is enabled. When you perform Revert To Step after completing the workflow, the output generated is automatically cleared and reverted to the Stacker: Flatten Volume step.
