This document covers the Ansys Dynamic Reporting release notes for versions 2025 R1 and later. For previous release notes, see the Ansys Dynamic Reporting section in the relevant version of the EnSight release notes.
The following list highlights the new features and enhancements for Ansys Dynamic Reporting in 2025 R2.
Added support for 3D plots and polar plots.
Added support for OBJ and SCDOCX 3D formats.
You can now export and load templates as JSON files.
Added default report templates.
Expanded the custom web components feature to add more report templates and allow for more customization.
You can now display aggregate filters in templates.
You can now display a dynamic list of items for each template leaf.
The workflow for conditional formatting settings has been improved.
You can now display the table of contents on the side of the report.
You can now set the slider type to either a standard slider or a drop-down menu.
Add option to dynamically change the data source and some rendering parameters for the 3D viewer.
Fully released the following report templates:
Added a new query type to execute numerical comparisons in tags (API only).
Made performance improvements in API for creating and modifying report templates.
Improved API length checks for strings.
