Point Masses create an additional mass entity on a geometry or remote point. Additional mass and mass moment of inertia are added to the master node of a related FRBE entity. If a Point Mass is created on a node, the additional mass and mass moment of inertia are added to the node directly. This entity is available for a nodal FE body.
Important: Point Masses are only created when mesh information is imported through the FE Data feature. In the Nastran format, CONM2 elements are imported with this entity. Point Mass entities are also imported into Ansys Mechanical format.
